{they're back!}

They're back!
Our long lost cousins who we only get to see a few times a year are here to visit!
(special thanks to Jenny for tying the knot so we can have them here)

They arrived on Friday evening and we headed down to O-town first thing Saturday morning. As the kids get older they feel comfortable so much more quickly and this time they just scampered off to play as if they saw each other every day.

We took the kids swimming at Riverside while the guys golfed.

{sweetest little pals}

{Seesters!}

Then we had a delicious Costa Vida dinner and watched Batman Begins.

Christian Bale = soooooo hot!

They are going to be here for almost a month and we are totally stoked!
Welcome Back!

Pioneer Day

I know I'm a little behind, but we had such a fun Pioneer day that I really wanted to post about it.

It's just a known thing that on the 24th the Hammers have a Red,White and Blue breakfast. The food is delicious. . . who doesn't love a big breakfast?!

For some reason I got pictures with 3 of the 5 sister-in-laws. Sorry Chelle and Codye!!

{Abs}

(Have I ever mentioned what great sister-in-laws I have. Hands down the best girls I've ever met. They are incredible examples and I love them so much)

Then we just hang out for a while. The kids love to play in the yard, swing, jump on the tramp, and play with the fun water toys that Brammy and Bapa have.

We were having so much fun hanging out that we stayed until after 8pm!
It was a great day.

{slip n slide}

We are big slip n slide people around here. We don't have much of a hill in our yard. . . but we still make it work.

Ayden loves it and I had to get this video of him. . .

{Cousin sleepover}

Sunday night was Hammer-on and all of the big kids were working out sleepover arrangements. At the last minute, we decided to let Ayden and his cousin Brandt try a sleepover! It's not the first time Brandt has stayed over. . . but it is the first official sleepover!

The boys were so excited!

They stayed up late watching a movie with Logan.

And of course there always has to be a tent!

Thanks for staying with us Brandt. . . we had a blast!

{Kung Fu Panda}

Ayden has heard so much talk about the movie Kung Fu Panda. (which he actually pronounces kon-too panda) Seems like everyone has seen it and everyone loves it. We told him about a week ago that either Mommy or Daddy would take him sometime and he hasn't stopped asking.

So today Logan suggested that I take him while Sophie took her nap. We planned it out just right and finally went to see it!

It was so much fun to go spend the day alone with my boy at the "movie fee-ater". He is getting so big and so fun! We had a great time. . . although a full length movie is still a lot to take for a 3 year old.

{my little stud}

What a lucky Mom.

{boo boo}

If you know anything about Sophie, you know that a little bonk on the head is a pretty regular occurrence. But there's something so incredibly sad about a major scrap on such a
beautiful face
.

She's a toughy though, she only cried for about 1 minute and then she went the rest of the day showing off her battle wound. Silly girl

{sister of the bride}

Yesterday I had the privilege of helping my sister with her bridal pictures. She is so beautiful and the camera absolutely loves her!

We had such a great time together and I'm so glad I got to be a part of that special day.
