This week Logan's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. What an amazing thing, 40 years together. And they couldn't be happier.
Judy told us months ago that she was going to make dinner for all the adults. I thought she was crazy because technically shouldn't WE be making dinner for HER on her anniversary? But she insisted so we went along with it.
When we arrived at the house there were sheets hung up so that we couldn't go into the kitchen/dining area. Once everyone was there we all walked in together and saw. . . . nothing. She totally tricked us. There weren't any candles, no places set at the table, nothing! Then she told us to get in our cars and follow them somewhere.
Much to our surprise, we ended up at the Lion House. There was a room set up for us. We had a wonderful evening, laughing and celebrating together.

So Happy Anniversary Ron and Judy. Thank you for the wonderful night. Thank you for setting a tremendous example of love and support for each other over these 40 years together. You two amaze and inspire me, and I'm grateful to have you in my life.

What a fun night you had celebrating their 40th anniversary! The Hammers always seem to have so much fun it makes me wish we were part of the Hammers, too. Lovely family photo that you will treasure.
What a total blast! Now... if we can all make it to 40 years and be that happy!
