{ Bear Lake with the Hammers }

We have really been looking forward to our Hammer family trip this year. We didn't go on one last year and it was definitely missed.

It started with a bang as we had everyone meet at our house so we could caravan up the Bear Lake. The kids were so excited to spend the weekend with their cousins. We are so lucky to have such a great family with everyone living so close by. It took us a little over 2 hours to get there. We stayed at a place called Ideal Beach. With 34 people we obviously can't stay in one condo so we rented a house and a condo. We stayed in the condo with Codye and Colter's families. It was perfect!! We had lots of room and our place was clean and quiet while the house was much more chaotic with all the big kids and meals over there.

The kids couldn't wait to see the pool and walk out to the Lake. The last time we went to Bear Lake was when I was pregnant with Ayden and the water was really low then. It was much higher this time and we didn't have to walk out nearly as far to reach it.

One of the days we went to the craft center and let the kids pick out a craft to make. They had such a great time!

Myla wanted to sit in the middle of the kitchen to eat, so Uncle Steve decided to join her.

Brammy spent a lot of time preparing a game of Minute to Win It for us to play at the house. It was awesome!! Everyone got into it, especially the kids.

I'm so grateful to have married into such a wonderful family. We had an amazing trip with them and I always look forward to spending time with them. We have made some great memories and built incredible friendships over the past few years.

Check out our music video we made throughout the trip (thanks to Logan and Chelle) . . . it's pretty great.
