{ Cruisin . . . day 6 }

I'm trying to get these posts done because I stopped journaling after day 6 and I want to get it all down before I forget everything!

Belize City, Belize . . .

"Today was AWESOME! It started at the butt crack of dawn when we met in the Burgundy lounge at 7 am to catch the Tender boat. It was a hot mess, but Texie muscled herself to the front desk to get us a sticker so we could get on one of the first boats.

Once on the boat it took about 20 minutes to get to the port. At first it just looks small and dirty, but once we got loaded in the bus and met our guides we LOVED it! The guides were informative and funny! They told us stories about their country and other funny things about previous excursions."

"Once we got to the site they unloaded us and handed us our gear. We were with another couple that was going zip lining as well as cave tubing so we set off on a separate track from the rest of the group. Our guide was named Elias and he was awesome! He told us some interesting info about the rain forest and the plants they use for different medicines and what not. He had Kirk eat some bugs that taste like carrots. When we got to the water we lined up in a train and Eli pulled us through the caves. He showed us different stalactites and cave statues. At one point I got stuck on a branch and my tube popped! I felt so stupid. Eli teased me relentlessly about having a fat butt the rest of the way through. He gave me his tube and had to walk and swim the rest of the way.

Our next adventure after the caves was zip lining! Our guides were Harrison and Ronny. They were so nice and patient with us. It was kinda scary but so incredibly fun! The best part was listening to Texie scream every time she took off! She was terrified! It was great.

When we were done lunch was served and Eli had our table all set with our food and drinks. He was the best."

{Here we are with Eli. Most of our pictures this day were taken on a water proof camera with film that has to get developed. Imagine that. So I'll post those pictures later}

While taking a bathroom break I saw this:

Ironic isn't it?

We loaded one of the last tenders going back to the ship. From the tender the view of the ocean, the Carnival Dream, and Belize was so incredible.

"Tonight durning "SHHHH . . .OW TIME" we did a limbo dance and made a train through the whole restaurant! It was great. After dinner we went up to the Burgundy lounge and both of the boys sang Karaoke. Kirk went up first and sang "Brown Eyed Girl". He was pretty good! Then Logan went up and sang none other than "Billy Jean". He was dancing like crazy and the audience loved it!

Our day in Belize was amazing. And standing at the Aft of the ship at the end of the day watching the sunset was priceless. I tried to take a mental picture and freeze time."
