{ the day of dread }

I've dreaded this day from the time Sophie Lynn was born. But I knew, like most mothers that it was inevitable.

Today, my sweet Sophie girl cut her own hair. No, not with scissors. . . .with clippers! It took everything out of me not to burst into tears, good thing I've had 2 years to prepare, right.

I guess I should be grateful . . . it could've been worse.

I'm so sorry. I think it is inevitable, but sad. At least it's in the back and not the front! What if she had done her bangs?!?

Oh, I wanted to cry for you, too. Her hair looked so cute on Sunday. Take comfort in the fact that it will grow. Let's just hope this is the only time she does it.

OH WOW! I would have cried. But you know that a lot of kids now are buzzing shapes into their hair like stars, hearts, what ever you want. You could do that and color it JK. Come on let the inner crazy hair stylist out! Ha Ha!
