Well, it's begun! The official launch of our new business. It's been a work in progress and I must say that most of that work was not done by me. Logan has put blood, sweat, and tears into this for the past year and it brings us so much joy that we are finally ready to move forward.
When I was nursing Ayden, seeing as that I am a dancer and am lacking in any sort of privacy issues, I would feed him anywhere and everywhere. I wasn't uncomfortable with it, but I'm sure it made others uncomfortable and I know it was hard for Logan. So with Sophie we decided to try something to help so that I could nurse where ever I wanted, and Logan could still be comfortable. There are a couple of products out there for this, but none of them were perfect. So we decided to take the good qualities from a few different products and put them together. And almost a year later, here we are. Our product is called an OBUBA. (pronounced oh-boo-baw) There are many different functions for your obuba, the main one, of course, being able to nurse in public. I gave one to my friend, Texie, 6 months ago when she had her 4th child and she says she doesn't know how she survived the other 3 without one. She never leaves the house without it!
So now that the website is up, the product is here, and we have the marketing in place, we are ready to get the word out. Please take a moment and check out the website. And if possible, email anyone you know that might be interested in looking at the product. It made a huge difference in my life, as it has done in the lives of many other mothers. I always say, I'll buy anything out there that will make this whole motherhood thing just a little bit easier, and this is a perfect example of that!

Have you looked at etsy.com to sell it? It's very popular with young mothers. You may want to look into it. Great product, by the way.
There's also www.yourheartout.com. They showcase new and trendy in Utah. This might be a way to get your name out there. . .
Great Mary! I hope you and Logan do well for all Logan's work effort in getting it launched. I also know you spent time trying to sell at the home show.
Good luck you guys!! We're behind you all the way!!

Wow, Mar! I had no idea you guys were doing this! I am super impressed. I'll spread the word. You were right, breast feeding hurts like hell...If I can make it two weeks, I'll commit myself to two more. I think I'm at the point where I can do it, but I have almost given up a few times! I love all of your obubas, do you make them???
Oh, and you look beautiful in the pictures on the website. I LOVE your hair in the home page pic. I might have to copy that.
Very Darling!! I had no idea that you guys have been working on this! It is a fabulous idea!! I am just like you--I could care less who I am nursing in front of--but Paul would rather die than have me even mention that I am going to nurse a child!! Funny Funny!! I will have to get one whenever the next child comes--not too soon though!! Also---I will send the website to my friends down here!! Right now we have 5 ladies in our ward that are pregnant so it's definitely on the mind!!! Congrats and good luck!!
ALSO---love the fact that it covers in the back!! I would always try to cover up the front with a blanket but then you have your shirt hiking way up in the back too---GREAT PLANNING!!
I have seen the other products and with #2 on the way I would love to try yours. I've heard different complaints too about the others.
