The love of a man

I never though I would be so lucky as to have the love of a man who would literally do anything in his power to make me happy. What a true blessing.

I'm not one of those people who worries about getting sick. But in the last few months there has been a couple times when I have become really ill. The day before we left to Cancun I came down with the flu and was extremely ill. Luckily it was only a 24 hour bug, so I was able to go on to have a wonderful trip.

This time around was totally different. While we were on our Hammer family vacation in Lava Hot Springs I came down with some kind of intestinal infection that is going around. On top of that I had a head cold bringing all the joys that come with that. I was completely knocked out. So much so that we had to end our trip early. I laid on that hotel bed while he packed and loaded all of our stuff, and drove us home on barely any sleep from the crazy night before. Once we were home, he unloaded the car, put all the stuff away, did all the laundry, and cleaned the house all while taking care of the kids. (which is no small task, I would know) Then he bathed them and put them to bed. They both got up multiple times in the night and he jumped right up with no hesitation to care for them. The next day I was still down for the count so he got up with them, got them dressed and ready, put Sophie down for a nap and took Ayden to church with him. What an amazing man. I couldn't stop thinking about how grateful I am for him. He is the most wonderful companion and friend I could ever ask for. I know that he truly cares for me and my happiness. He loves our family more then anything in the world and he shows it through his love and devotion. Log, I love you. You are the man of my dreams. Thanks for everything.

Cause we're okay
We're fine
Baby Im here to stop your crying
Chase all the ghosts from your head
I'm stronger than the monster beneath your bed
Smarter than the tricks played on your heart
We'll look at them together then we'll take them apart
Adding up the total of a love thats true
Multiply life by the power of two

Everything I give amounts to a small portion of what I receive from you. BHSB I love you more every day!
