Darlin Sweets

I don't feel my blog is complete until I dedicate a post you my sweet baby-la-goose, Sophie Lynn. What a fun girl.

Logan gave me a blessing when I got pregnant with Sophie and in it he told me that I needed to develop more patience. I wasn't sure I really knew why, but when Sophie made her appearance I quickly learned. She had acid reflux from the very start. I remember that Logan would come home from work and take her out on the patio at our apartment so I could have a moment of peace from the crying and fussing that went on all day long. Before we knew it she grew out of that, but has never been the "always content" baby that Ayden was. She definitely feels a range of emotions and lets you know it. It's awesome though, because the emotion that she shows the most is happiness. She will smile and laugh at total strangers. She always has. She has spunk and lots of energy. Here is a list of some of her favorite things:

DIRT! She loves to play with/eat dirt.
Wrestling. Especially with Daddy.
Eating- she has always loved to eat!
Slides. Her new favorite thing is to climb up the stairs at the park and go down the slide all by herself!
Playing with Ayden and Madi
Watching Signing Time (it's the only show she will sit and watch)
Unrolling the TP (Mom's least favorite thing!)
Climbing, running, jumping, dancing . . . you know, anything active!
Signing! (she signs more, eat, please, thank you, and dog)

Sophie has one of those faces that absolutely knocks you out. Those dimples! Holy cow! Total strangers come up to me and tell me how incredibly gorgeous she is. I keep telling Logan that he's going to be in big trouble when she gets older and all of Ayden's friends want to hang at our house so they can check her out. She has been beautiful from the minute she was born.

Sophie is such a wonderful addition to our family. She is her daddy's little bubbas-goosis. She is Ayden's little punching bag, and Mommy's little sweets. We have so much fun with her and can't imagine our lives without our little Sophie Lynn.

What a beautiful little girl she is! I remember her in the hospital and thought how gorgeous she was. I hope we get to see her often enough that she know who we are. The pictures of her are adorable. I didn't realize she could climb up the stairs of the slide by herself now. She is brave. Does she like "Cookie". Tell Ayden we are happy he showed us his turtle today.
