{ weekend away }

It was time again for Tahitian Noni's Pearl Camp which means that we got to stay at the Grand America Hotel! My dad let us use his awesome suite for the weekend. It has become a tradition in our family and our kids look forward to it each year!

On our way down we stopped at the University of Utah so Logan could drop off a paper. The kids were really excited to see daddy's school and sit in his classroom!

Of course as soon as we got to the hotel we had to get our suits on and head to the pool!

{some pretty excited kiddos}

They are lucky they have a dad who loves to swim because their mama . . . not so much. I am all for fun in the sun, which is why we get Cherryhill season passes each year. But as for getting in the water myself, I'm not really a fan. They had a blast with Logan though, well I guess just the big kids did. Myla wasn't happy the first day. But on Saturday we bought her a floaty and she was much happier.

Saturday morning we went to Village Inn for breakfast!

We started talking about eye color and had to take some pictures so we could zoom in and see who has the most similar color.

I think Ayden and I are the close to the same. His are a little more green.

Myla and Sophie and pretty close too!

Poor Logan though, he's the farthest from a match!

Later that day we went to Tanner park up by Brammy and Bapa's house. The kids had a great time swinging and playing on the slides!

Then it was time for some more swimming.

Our kids are at such fun ages right now. We really had a wonderful weekend together. We played a game where we asked them questions about their parent's (where we met, when and where we got married, etc . . .) and they loved it! It was a fun opportunity to teach them about us and see what things they already knew. We truly love and enjoy our kids and feel blessed to be their parents.

That was a great post Mary! I loved all the photos. My favorite was the one of the three kids on the sofa with their swim suits on and Myla is just laughing. Myla, especially seems to have grown up so fast. Maybe it is because we haven't seen her as much when she was little, as we did with Sophie and Ayden. What a great weekend for your family! I loved seeing Sophie pump the swing herself and Myla just learning to enjoy swingin.
