{ Crusin . . . day 3 }

I tried to keep a journal throughout the trip because in my old age my memory is definitely fading. The journal I got specifically for the trip fell prey to some water damage. I figure I'll use my blog entries as my journal for the trip so I wanted to start this post with a direct quote from my journal entry for Sunday May 30, 2011.

"I am currently sitting on the Lido deck, looking out the window at the huge ocean and feeling very small in this world. Traveling always makes me pensive. I am so comfortable with my little life. I hardly even think about the big world out there that I have no part in. My influence on the world is so small. But not unimportant to the people close to me. I know the kids are missing me like crazy, just as I miss them. I wish I didn't yell at them so much. I wish I was kinder and less sarcastic. I just wish I had more control over myself. Sometimes life is overwhelming to me. And sometimes I'm so happy I could burst."

Day three of our trip (second day on the ship) was semi uneventful but incredibly relaxing. It was the first of 2 "Fun days at Sea". We found a spot on the Serenity deck (adults only) and sun bathed ourselves for most of the day.

{ We never got over how blue the water is. }
That night was also the first of 2 formal nights on board the ship. So we got all dressed up for dinner.
{ Logan got sleepy waiting for the ladies to get ready. Remote in hand.}

The food was yummy! You got to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Of course our head server Rolie, would always bring extra stuff out or suggest two or three different options for each. He was awesome! I miss Rolie.

After dinner we went out on the deck to enjoy the sunset while we waited for the next comedy show. They had a comedy club on the ship called the Punchliner . They had 2 comedians on board for the first half of the week and then a different set for the second half.

My favorite was Tommy Drake! He was awesome! I had to get a picture with him after the show! He mostly joked about his wife and all the funny things that wives do. I got a kick out of it because it's so true! I alway think about what they guys have to go through being married to us crazy ladies!

We saw his first show and had to go back for his second. There is a Comedy Club in Ogden that we have visited a few times with the Browns and we always have a great time. We were pumped to acquire some new material!

I went to bed that night extremely excited for the next day. It was our first port . . . Cozumel. We had a great excursion planned and I couldn't wait!
